Senior Interior Architectural Designer

An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Interior Architectural Designer to join our practice in Northwood as part of a successful and dynamic team on a full time basis, with an immediate start.

In this role, the successful candidate will support the Interior Architecture Design Manager and team in all private residential and luxury developer client projects from concept stage, through the detailed design stage to completion in accordance with the client’s brief and within the time scales given. 

This is a design role with focus on key internal design areas such as spatial layouts, furniture plans, lighting and electrical plans, reflective ceiling plans, kitchens, bathrooms, tiling design and selection and specification of architectural interior items such as stairs, joinery, and ironmongery.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

REVIT / AutoCAD drawings to include:

Furniture plans

Technical / structural designs and interior architectural detailing

Lighting and electrical plans

Sections and Elevations details

Joinery detailing

Bathroom & kitchen design, including liaison with suppliers

Creation and modification of Families

Detailed drawing packages

Product sourcing and specification

Product quotations

There is a requirement for the successful candidate to recognise this and adopt a flexible approach to work. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

AutoCAD is essential and REVIT experience is a distinct advantage – day-to-day experience; minimum 5 years’ experience

Creative and a strong interest in residential design

Essential IT skills as described above

Ability to work using your own initiative and under guidance from the Senior members of the team

Able to multi-task and juggle an ever-changing workload & deadlines

Well organised with attention to detail and accuracy

Well-presented and personable, with excellent communication and organisational skills

Team-spirited

Ability to remain calm under pressure

Resilient to cope with conflicting demands, able to prioritise duties, work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines

Own car essential + clean driving licence
