Our brief was to create a comfortable family home that would appeal to local buyers and sell promptly. The developer wanted usable family areas, an attractive master bedroom and stylish formal rooms. The budget for the whole house was relatively modest; therefore we needed to plan carefully to maximise resources and create an appealing look and feel.
Research was an important part of this project. Our team really got to grips with the local market and what local buyers were looking for. The warm and homely interior we created – with its comfortable living areas, smart dining room and characterful bedrooms for children – exceeded expectations and attracted a buyer quickly. When the family moved in they kept all of the furniture and every accessory, right down to the Italian olive oil bottles and Cornflake boxes.
The home’s interior architecture, designed by Micasa, certainly helped to secure a swift sale. Attention to detail was key throughout. Our Interior Architecture team worked with our client from the very outset, making sure that everything from the kitchen design and furniture plan to the tiling and lighting worked together harmoniously. The result was an appealing home that was liveable and beautifully crafted.
