Playing a key part in the success of the showroom, meeting areas and office space, you will be responsible for maintaining a high level of standards for all areas in the Micasa environment, ensuring all areas are kept clean and presentable whilst providing the highest level of customer service to Micasa guests. You should also have previous administration or office experience.
Maintaining the Micasa image to the highest standards and ensuring the showroom and all display areas are neat and tidy at all times
Assisting with stock management ensuring deliveries are put away timely
Ensuring the gallery area is organised and samples are correctly stored away
Organising textiles and fabric samples
Work closely with the design team to provide support when and where required
Processing cash and credit transactions accurately
Maintaining a clean environment for all meeting spaces and rooms
Client meeting setup including preparing area and refreshments
Running short errands and other adhoc duties
Administration support such as sorting post, invoices & ordering items
Receiving goods in and liaising with warehouse and main showroom
Confident in interfacing with clients, suppliers and the Micasa in-house team
Opening up the office and setting up office for the day
Basic housekeeping and upkeep and facilities management
Clerical (typing, filing) support for the team

The Showroom Assistant will have exceptional communication skills, proven office and administration experience as well as the ability to work in a high paced environment. The ability to multitask, IT literacy are essential. The Showroom Assistant should also be flexible and able to work using own initiative. As some travel to project sites may be required, a full UK driving license is also required.
The role will involve meeting clients in the showroom, presenting the textile and fabric collections, liaising with the design team, updating clients on orders and providing support to the wider team as required.
